Unity? Quislings Stopping The Govt?

I've seen this on here today. I've also heard Mr. Cleverly, the
Tora Tora Tora Party Chairman, saying that various opposition parties are trying to stop Brexit. That's true. They are. But what Mr. Cleverly conveniently forgets is that it was the action of a few of his own rebel MP's that has landed the Govt where it is now. If they had backed their own Prime Minister in the first place, we would have been out of Europe three years ago. You can't have it both ways. Or maybe they think they can. Blame someone else for their own parties failings. And everyone seems to believe that it's the current opposition parties which are causing problems for the Govt. It's cause and effect.

Three years ago (at the Referendum) the then Prime Minister, Cameron campaigned to Remain. If the Tories had backed him, we would definitely be not leaving.
Or have I misunderstood ?

We couldn't have been out three years ago. Maybe you mean March 2019, in which case the general point is still true, although Brexit-supporting MPs can be forgiven for rejecting a deal that they judged to be bad for the UK.

Mays treaty was worse for leavers because it wasn’t leaving and worse for remainers as it was remain without the power they want.

So in reality Mays treaty was worse for both leave or remain and tbh any mp who voted for it needs their head testing.

Where it is true that for remainers no treaty will be good enough so will vote it down regardless, soft leavers will accept a treaty that leaves us a bit in. Obviously ‘in’ the bits they want and not necessarily the bits best for the country per say or that takes us right out.

I think Mays treaty has well and truely been debunked as the *** *** stick in history so trying to say it was the best, only or even pragmatic way to leave is a bit disingenuous really.

To state the obvious, there was no opportunity to get out of the EU three years ago because May went for an extension, given there had been no exit deal arranged. Had sufficient backed her capitulation at the time we'd now be stuck up EU creek without a paddle.

Trying yet again to blame those responsible for us not being in that predicament, for the present situation, is ludicrous. Ignoring the opposition (who also didn't back May) who have continually tried to thwart a real exit, and has therefore obviously been one of the causes of the present situation, is to be wilfully blind to reality. I'm unsure what the OP is trying to achieve.

the problem you have 10cs is that you fail to see that the VBQC are cross party. There are a lot in the opposition of course but also in the Tory party, the 20 odd that you refer to are merely part of that proportion if the HOQ that want to thwart. Now I get it that you still think that party loyalties are more important than brexit but they are not. It's not the action of a few Tories rebelling that is important it is the collective VBQC trying to thwart democracy. Still don't let that stop you mis focusing on party lines. Others have corrected the other errors in your post.

Tory MP's back the PM, and Brexit goes through. Some Tory MP's don't, and we are where we are. The rest of the cobblers written here is irrelevant. Cause and effect.
