Danny I don't know about kettling them but several steam hoses would dampen their enthusiasm to disrupt people going about their lawful business.
To their shame we witnessed photos of Met Officers playing on skateboards with the protesters who had blocked a London Bridge.
I hope they have since been well briefed that there will be no repetition of this 'harmony' but to police this anarchy vigourously.
Time to nip this in the bud.Break out the CS,The Met have had it long enough. It will soon go past its 'best by' date.

hereIam But they are worried about global warming and the affect it will have on future generations. Something has to be done, doesn't it ??
Perhaps if they went to Mumbai or Peking and targeted the real culprits they might be on track. I often wondered why I saw commuters in china and Japan going about their business in smog masks.
I was in Santorini a few years back when a cruise ship visited. Several hundred Japanese came ashore. All wearing massive sun visors on their heads with smog masks. They obviously believe the rest of the world is polluted as the pollution they create in their own

This is where most of the blame lies. Not the streets of London.

That image was from 2015. China's government has made huge strides since then to clean up the atmosphere.
China leads the world in the use of electric vehicles; in the use of solar power and is moving faster than any other country in the control of emissions.
Current air quality in Beijing is good:

In fact better than in London. Pollution levels in London right now are twice as high as those in Beijing

SO the problem really does lie in the streets of London, rather than the streets of Beijing.
I visit there three or four times a year (last time in September; next in November). Pollution control and emissions control is right at the top of the agenda for all industry - especially in the most heavily-polluted areas, such as the Beijing-Tianjin region.
You can see the levels f

in order to have any chance of getting what they want, XR need about 3% of the population onside - that's two and a half million. in order to get the volume of voice they need, they need to appeal not to the eco-warriors (who are already onside), but more to those who would tend to be moderate, or conservative even - the very people they're conspiring to hack off by preventing them getting to work.
