Whoever is guilty of this crime deserves to be put in prison for a long time, not least because they appear to be a danger to the people of this country.
However, what the family of the murdered police woman (or, if you prefer, "killed cop") do NOT deserve is an unsafe conviction, or the conviction of an innocent man, only to have to go through the whole traumatic experience of another trial in the future.
Let's at least respect the law of this country and assume innocence until proven guilty. If and when guilt is proven, then by all means start to say what you like about the criminal(s), but until then, I hope, for once, ABers will remain a little more level headed.
