Mrs Sacoolas.......clarification Please.

Now that diplomatic immunity is gone would Mrs Sacoolas face arrest if she set foot in any EUSSR country? Or is the fact that she had immunity at the time of the offence mean not?
So is she in effect not able to travel anywhere in the EUSSR for ever without potentially getting arrested?

A tad crass, imho. Needless to say they declined as they wish to meet her on their terms, not hers. And they want said meeting to be in the UK.
I'd assume not, but I wasn't sure. I think the UK *could* issue a EAW, but at the moment there seems little point. Sacoolas is, apparently, "never coming back" to the UK, and issuing a EAW would presumably only have the effect of keeping her out of Europe.
As an aside, since the UK is almost certain to lose access to the EAW after Brexit, it would be politically moronic to try and issue one at the exact time that we are negotiating to give it up.

jim; "as an aside, since the UK is almost certain to lose access to the EAW after Brexit, it would be politically moronic to try and issue one at the exact time that we are negotiating to give it up. " - yes if we do get out. It was more a technical point that I was seeking to clarify but if the VBQC have there way they'll do their damdest to keep us in!
There was never any chance she'd come back. The parents did well to sidestep the attempt to ambush them into a tearful apology session aimed at appeasing them so they'd shut up about it.
Unfortunately they do just have to live with it. You can only hope the woman concerned has trouble sleeping from now on.
