Oh my apologies Khandro
I wonder what the about to be dumped Brexit Party candidates who have been out and about canvassing think about that?
zebo what cost are you interested in?
A wise, strategic move by Farage. He knows that the only possible chance of Brexit is the Tory party.
So wise, he announced the party would field 600 candidates a week ago?
They will take some votes from Labour, but not enough to win any seats. More likely just mean a few more hard Remain LibDems will get elected.

That is a sensible decision.
Splitting the Leave vote would have been bonkers.
That will have saved them £150,000 in lost deposit money.
//He knows that the only possible chance of Brexit is the Tory party. //

I don't think it's that at all. He knows that whichever party wins we're not going to get Brexit. I think he's simply acknowledging that the Brexit Party can't possibly win a majority and is therefore ensuring that the vote isn't split, thereby allowing the idiot parties in by the back door Good for him.

Maybe he's expecting a Cabinet post for Christmas ;o)
In 2017 UKIP lost 337 deposits (89% of the seats it contested) at a cost of £168,000. It lost its deposit in my constituency which was about the only good thing about the result.

I have been desperately looking for a reason to vote because I have no faith in any of the Parties. I now realise I must turn out (and not vote Brexit) to ensure Farage loses another £500 in my area.
Good for them. A pragmatic decision driven by acting in the country's interest rather than the party's, or any individual's.
Not surprised. There is no way really that they have the infrastructure in place to go for all 600 seats. This way they can concentrate their efforts.

Whther anything will come of it, who knows?
I wonder if they ever had the 600 candidates in the first place?
I'm sure they had 600 candidates, whether or not they were 600 viable candidates is another matter.
As the Brexit Party will not be contesting more than half the seats, will that exclude it from TV debates, Question Time panels, newspaper reports, etc.

The less I see (and hear) of Farage, the happier I will be.
They were not all named were they? Even if they were not planning to stand in Ulster, they would not have covered all the seats in Great Britain.
