Why Do Some Of Labour Hate Jewish People?
This is a genuine question.
Why?
I just don't get it.
The Jewish people, throughout history, have been persecuted - a friend of mind lives in the Kazimierz part of Krakow and I visit him a couple of times a year, and to this day, in some courtyards, you can still see the bullet holes in walls from the pogroms.

Apologies for the enormous link.
I love Krakow - just about my favourite European city.
When I visited Auschwitz I was truly humbled; even typing this now is making the hairs on the back of my neck stand-up.
So again, I wonder why there's so much anti-semitism (let's call it what it really is - anti-Jew) in the Labour party.

Jim, //It goes without saying that any "ancient notion" relating to Jewish people and finances is utterly without foundation. //
Actually, Jim, it isn't without foundation. Not at all. The Jews have always been self-sufficient, they've always been in business, and they've always been good with money. They've had to be.
Deskdiary, the chairs are poignant indeed, but the wall gets to me most. What kind of sick mind would have conceived such a cruel idea? It's inconceivable to me.
I don't think I have a word for Auschwitz - or Berkinau. Nothing suffices.
