I suppose it's traditional, the first thing Brown did was start taxing pension dividends. They just don't see that if you wreck private pension growth you increase the state burden.

Actually I hoped to find meaningful debate here not propaganda. It is striking that the conservatives have little to offer other than criticism of the other parties. I am just sick of hearing it. all the parties are doing that this season. apart from the escalating round of "my dad's bigger than your dad" increasingly ludicrous and probably undeliverable promises from both sides, the campaigning I've seen so far from both sides is either how "the other lot" are telling blatant lies, or embarking on their version of "project fear" highlighting how bad this or that party will be for you if you vote for them
