Here it is folks...

https://labour.org.uk/manifesto/

Well done them, I say - a manifesto that will stifle business, apply 'supertaxes' on the "rich" earning over £80k, inheritance tax cuts rolled back, marriage allowance for basic rate taxpayers scrapped (err, isn't that a tax increase on the 'poor'?) capital gains tax rises etc, etc, etc...

Still, on the plus side, they are going to spend gazillions with all of this money they're going to find at the end of the rainbow, provide everybody with a pet unicorn, and promise me that Liz Hurley absolutely, definitely, is going to swoon over me.

Is it just me or are they absolutely batsiht crazy?

Ok, there no one of any significance on here under 45. ;-)
Lol.
//Ok, there no one of any significance on here under 45. //

Hmmm..... Your 'of any significance' could have stymied them, zacs.
One can only hope.
//I'm young enough to not really remember the 70s.//

Lucky old you - a blessed relief for you.
seventies: good bits
free further education -
open university founded
you could find a dentist
decent tv - full employment allowing un-careers and un-jobs

bad - 100% inflation over 3-4 yrs
tripling of oil prices lead to tripling of everything ( see above)
miners strike - scargill supreme (*)
power cuts - union power rampant

end of the seventies was pretty terrible ....
(*) labour politician
each time Arthur Scargill opens his mouth it is worth a million votes.....

( worth as in 'lose')
Labour's spending spree costs out at over £1tn, taxing the rich won't cover that, they'll have to tax everybody.
"Well done" ? So, before I check, they've abandoned their disdain of democracy and the people, and intend delivering a true Brexit then ? Well that's an unexpected U turn. Might even end up being electable within a few decades at that rate.
I find it hard to believe the rapturous applause Corbyn gets when announcing his pie-in-the-sky plans. Do people really believe it’s doable.

I’m liking Diane Abbot’s new super short fringe.
Did she cut it herself?
With a knife and fork?
// Do people really believe it’s doable. //

Not enough voters. I'm still not convinced Corbyn actually wants to be in power. They've just constructed an ideological wish list of free everything paid for by 'the rich'.

No-one in their right mind would believe it's remotely achievable in reality.
The Labour manifesto of 1983 was described by a Labour MP as the longest suicide note in history. This one must come a close second.
I really don't know how the majority moderate Labour supporters (MPs particularly) can stomach Corbyn and the Momentum gang. Surely they must realise that the time has come to break away and form a new centrist party - or are they just sheep?
The last time they did that led to the SDP. It split the socialist vote to hand Maggie a landslide majority.

They can't stomach them but they don't want to lose the Labour brand. People that break away from the main parties tend to get lost in the wilderness.

If the socialist experiment fails miserably at the general election, we may see a re-emergence of the moderates.
Mad as a box of frogs. (Real ones, not Frenchmen)
ooooppsss

there's an internet meme doing the rounds that explains "everything is free" because it removes any opportunity for Diane Abbott to get the maths wrong.
Seriously, its coming up to Christmas and JC thinks he's Santa Clause delivering gifts galore that are free. A time for make believe, fairies and little elves. And some grown up people still believe in him.
