Do you think that there will continue to be a huge amount of people voting Tory? Won't some constituencies drop out when things like unemployment or crime aren't altered?

What makes you think that they wont improve?
People will always vote Tory if the alternative is some IRA supporting Stalinist.
I am prepared to give them a chance and if they don't keep their promises, I will write to them and probably never vote for them again if they don't listen, but I'm hopeful Boris will see all his promises through.

So the same number of seats will be won next election, is this your prediction?
Come back in about 4+ years and I might have an answer!

We have given them a chance of about ten years.
Nothing is guaranteed, that's for sure - many voters said their vote was 'on loan' this time due to Jeremy Corbyn - if there is change one way or another then that could sway them in the future.
The difference now is that Boris is in charge.
...and if the Labour Party appoint another Corbynista as leader, then the Labour Party are doomed for the next twenty years.
^ True !
"Is the belief in the Tories sustainable?"; yes, it is, as long as the Tories deliver what most of the electors want. As soon as the Tories start to waver, the electors will direct their votes to another party.
As long as the get Brexit done, that will keep 17 million people happy and voting for them. That and the fact that currently there is no viable alternative.
the whole thing is really up to Labour. if they fail to get credible then history has demonstrated that the electorate vote Tory. People don't like hard left, anti Semitic, anti British terrorist loving loonies as a general rule.
Even if the Tories waver, bookbinder, they wont be deflected by a bunch of thick Stalinists.Even if the Tories start adopting ultra right wing policies, they can always say "well socialists like Mao and Stalin murdered more working class bods than Hitler ever did".

Why the "facepalm",Mozz.Have you ever read history....anytime?
The whole fact that you felt the need to compare the two parties to the extremes of both far left and right wing beliefs is crazy.
It depends, The Tories will need to deliver to the working class constituencies that they won over.

Further to this, Labour will have to remain a party of marxism. If Labour can move back towards the working class, which ultimately means moving away from their anti-britain approach, then I doubt working class voters will maintain their Tory vote.

Unfortunately for Labour it doesn't look like they are going to move in that direction any time soon. Fortunately for Labour the looming demographic change is likely to sway to their advantage anyway.

One of the most important victories for the Tories to win is on immigration and birth rates. We will find that the Conservativism will be a thing of a past if there is no action on this front.
Orion // birth rates.//
Since when did that come into the equation?
That can be said of any party in power. They got a big uplift from disenfranchised labour voters and no doubt they will drift back to labour.

You are of course assuming unemployment and crime won’t change. And to be fair no party can address these issues completely. It is as usual people perception that Changes.
