I grew up with the original Star Wars trilogy and as a kid, had a fairly encyclopedic knowledge of the movies. This movie is a great entry to the series and has some great homages to the past films. I'm sure ol' Dougie is happy with his superiority complex, so let's not engage in verbal fisticuffs.

The film was disappointing, I expected more from JJ Abrams. A lot of plot flaws, and far too fast paced. It looked great but the story was rubbish.

I’ll enjoy the conclusion of the first season of the Mandarlorian tomorrow. I have really enjoyed the first seven episodes so far.

I have Disney on 305, no Disney+ and nothing in the 600s. Disney+ is supposed to be a whole new streaming service, but I thought it wasn't due for another few months. I assume when it does the Sky Disney channel will vanish, along with pop-up Star Wars channels and the like.

Make that 611 for Disney XD. You need 610 3T. Just had a word with "she who must be obeyed". We are subscribed to the Disney ( that is disnae in Scottish) channels because she has great nieces and nephews who arrive out of the blue about 4 times a year and she thought it may be useful. Even I am bemused.
