There should not be any so called honours.
If you look at the list, most went to people who just went to work, the business recipients.
And IDS? A knighthood? For what? Designing Universal Credit?
If the country wants to honour them, they should be at the back of the queue, behind every serving military person, doctor, nurse, policeman, add your own to the list.
It is truly a farce.

I agree completely. It seems really bizarre to have knighted sportspeople like Mo Farah or Andy Murray still competing.
