Just watching the BBC news and they are doing an item about the coronavirus. Their reporter is walking about in an infected area doing a report to camera. The police have turned up and made them go back across the border. Why were they sent there in the first place knowing that the virus is highly contagious? It's ridiculous, dangerous and highly inappropriate!

Sorry I didn't come back last night, watching our ice hockey team on webcast! They won 4-2. Anyway Naomi, they shouldn't even be there, danger money or not! I just find it so stupid that they should put themselves at risk like that.
It's hardly surprising that a virus such as this has appeared considering the presence of the revolting 'wet' markets in Wuhan and other cities and towns in China. All sorts of animals are kept in filthy cages in close proximity to meat sold for human consumption - truly horrible:

\\ The virus is not as deadly as SARS. In fact, it is only about 10 times as deadly as seasonal flu, meaning 98 per cent of people who get it will survive (versus 85 per cent for SARS). While this isn’t exactly wonderful, it isn’t apocalyptic either. \\

indicating a 2% mortality - actually with 10 000 cases that would be 200 dead and there are only about 80 - so that wouldbe 0,8%

the case fatality ratio always overestimates the death rate because as has happened in China some official says - that doesnt count the other 10 000 case out the back door we didnt tell you about.
and the uncounted hidden cases brings the ratio down
co,pared to ebola - 60-80 % were dying
