This woman ( Jeremy Vine Show ) just can not be wrong, she shouts and becomes totally animated in her persona, these ‘losers’ are becoming so infantile, insulted over a coin? Really?????

Who?

In any case what don’t they like about the coin? It just says peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations.

Doesn’t she, ‘Lord’ Adonis and the other remainers like that inscription? If not which part in particular don’t they like?

And as a side note I can give them all my address so they can send them all to me if they like.

I thought this thread had been removed?

After me cassa, wouldn’t mind a sackful of them
I think it's meant to be a 'no hard feelings' / olive branch to our European cousins (and maybe a 'Hello, we're nice, would you like to trade with us' signal to other world nations).

It's a bit like sending a valentines card to your wife, just after you've divorced her.
I saw a humorous posting on FB saying that they would buy the new 50p coins for 20p from anyone who was planning to deface or destroy them, which would make these nutty people happy thinking that they were back in the EU!

Never known such utter stupidity over a coin
Agreed Bobbie. We now have a result after a democratic referendum and some of the stuff I am seeing on social media from those who voted to stay in the EU shows a level of intelligence that really amazes me. I am anticipating they will all be out on the streets on Friday.
This thread was closed, not removed, bobbi. Subsequently, quite rightly, re-opened.

I avoid posts about Brexit and remainers like the plague on FB, one of my friends would take it personally so I have a political free zone so no one gets upset, works for me

Thanks Spicey, as I said previously, I’m pleased I was out when it got heated, if indeed it did but I see no evidence of that
Likewise Bobbi. The post I referred to above came from a good friend and wasn't particularly political, just a joke. I use FB very rarely these days though, just look in to see family and close friends posts. We are the only family members in Norfolk, the rest are scattered world wide!
Ken4155 I meant the rest of the remainers on the twitter thread!
