"Appearing on today's show, a girl who likes Nicholas Parsons, and later on a parson who likes knickerless girls"

RIP Nicholas.
//I used to love Sale of the century when I was a saucepan, RIP//

“From Norwich – it’s the quiz of the week!”

//I also remember him as the voice of Tex Tucker in Four Feather Falls.Anyone else remember that one?//

Yes I do. But I didn’t know that Nicholarse voiced Tex Tucker. I think it was one of the early puppet shows produced by Silvia and Gerry Anderson, probably before they coined “Supermarionation” for "Supercar", "Stingray" and the like.
I'm very saddened by this news. Another little light gone from this world. I know he has had a good innings, but still it feels like a sudden loss. I wonder how his 'love child' Gyles Brandreth is feeling; there must be a lot of very sad people about today. R.I.P.
A long life and an appreciated performer. Sleep well Nicholas Parsons old school gentleman.
Sad news. Loved Sale of the Century when I was a kid.

RIP
very clever witty man...god speed nicholas.
"An enduring memory is seeing him play the Narrator in Rocky Horror. Very funny in his stockings, suspenders, and high heels. A lovely, clever, funny man."

This is my best memory of him as well. He was excellent playing this part.
I sad to hear this, RIP Nicholas.
