Well I for one want Charles to reign, as he should, before Wills and Kate. W&K have a young family and may have even more children so let them be parents first please, their children need them. They already work hard enough so let them enjoy this precious time while they can.

LB , the Queen was just 25 herself with a family when she was crowned , I get what you’re saying tho , Charles would be king and Camilla would be his consort , either way I’m happy as long as we retain our monarchy

Anne, I would hate their job. My point is Wills and Kate would be away from their family too much, up and down the country, tours abroad. Why take a young couple away from their young family more than they already are? I know you hate the RF but come on, surely you can't disagree with what I'm saying? Let Charles do it, he's been waiting long enough;-)

The Queen didn't have a choice though Bobbi. Charles hated that his mother was away so much if I remember correctly. Then they packed him off to Gordonstoun which also hated. Oh dear!

Yes LB, I inadvertently left Charles out the equation, and I agree he had a very unhappy childhood , something Kate and William are trying hard not to ‘copy’ with their own three beautiful children , and as Teacake says
