I think with a lot of people flouting the rules i think a full lockdown is now essential to avoid the situation we are seeing in Italy. I think the military need to get involved now. What do others think.

Gulliver has an unhealthy obsession with Johnson and Cummings.

Fact is, Gulliver hopes what Cummings is alleged to have said is true - there's zero evidence he did say it, but that means nothing to Gulliver; as far as he's concerned, it was said, and is now therefore official Government policy.

I can't decide whether it would be better if Gulliver was temporarily suspended during this period to save us from his endless trolling, or whether he should be allowed to continue in order to show the rest of AB what a total and complete fool he continues to be.

It would be stupid and pointless. Keeping your distance and avoiding crowds is the only sensible suggestion.

A curfew would be ridiculous. Unless, of course, the virus only works at 6.00 pm.

Full lockdown would be ridiculous. If people want to go out for a walk in the countryside , as long as they keep away from other people where's the harm?
A lot is now too little too late...weeks ago there should have been hand sanitizers at the entrance to supermarkets, restaurants, hospitals, doctors surgeries...etc. I haven't seen a single one anywhere.

Can these idiots who are congregating in close proximity not understand that we could soon be restricted as in France? They can't leave the house without filling in a form first to justify their exit, they can only walk for max of 20 minutes and not more than 1-2 km from home, no cycling allowed etc etc. Police have already issued over 90,000 fines of about 135 euros for people flouting the rules. Is that what the morons want?

Case in point:

I’m in work as I type this. A patient has now caused major upheaval because she waited until she got to Theatre to tell us she’s had a temperature and sore throat for 2 days!!

PLEASE protect yourselves and us from sheer stupidity, it’s the reason that we’re going to need lockdown and curfew.
Most colleagues have already decided as of yesterday that their partners must move to the in laws etc, they’re going to remain solitary throughout all this.

PLEASE heed the advice and warnings, I BEG you!!

My stepmum lives in France. She said she has to have a certificate in her pocket to walk the dogs, and isn't allowed for her daughter to go with her.
