I wonder how those who expressed their doubt over whether he really had the virus are feeling about it now. I hope they're thoroughly ashamed.
It's strange how the virus affects people. I know someone who had it and it took her 13 days before she was better. Others can go downhill really quickly. They can't cure the virus, only manage the symptoms. I fear for Boris
How awful. I wish him a speedy recovery. Fingers crossed for him.
It seems we have been given false reports on the prime ministers health situation,if this is correct then it just proves what anneasquith says,
Responsibility for running the country should have been delegated to next in line and not expected from someone in a hospital bed.
I suspect, and hope, he's been moved there earlier than others would be, as a precautionary measure (this isn't an accusation: as PM, so he should be). Worrying times for Carrie, though.
My Dad died in ICU and according to a nursing friend of mine, most patients who are in ICU are not concious. A bit of a worry
jordy, we don't know that he's always been this seriously ill; he may well have got worse and is now being given the extra care he needs. It doesn't necessarily mean anything's been kept secret.
Very bad, hope he pulls through this.
I think that he left it to long to be admitted due to the pressure of his work load.
Yes jno I agree with you in regards to the fact that he must have got worse over a period of time,
But I still say he has a virus that we know very little about,so the running of the country should have been past over from the start.
I feel dreadful about it as I have a feeling he won`t be in this world by Thursday, don't know why I feel that.I hope I`m wrong First half decent PM we get in this country and this happens to him.
Easy to say in hindsight Jordy. I guess he didn't want to appear weak by getting treatment sooner.
Frankly I don't believe a damn thing that is coming out of Downing street at the moment. I sincerely hope Boris pulls through, but I think a bit of clarity would go a long way in giving the Public confidence in the present Government
This stuff should be in news. Chatterbank doesn’t even appear on the home page.

I put it on CB because that’s where I wanted to put it because I was on my phone and couldn’t be doing with the faff of posting a link.
it's on my home page, TD, at least on a desktop; I can't answer for the strange habits of portable devices.
Aren't some of you being a bit too pessimistic. Here is the latest from BBC website only 20 minutes ago. Here's hoping the extra attention pulls him through.

Boris Johnson in intensive care - What we know so far

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was moved to intensive care in London's St Thomas hospital on Monday evening, officials said.

Here's a summary of what we know:

Mr Johnson, who is 55, was admitted to hospital on Sunday night, after experiencing coronavirus symptoms for 10 days
After his symptons worsened on Monday, he was admitted to intensive care "as a precaution" - he is said to be conscious
Foreign Secretary Dominic Rabb will deputise, running the government in Mr Johnson's absence
A tweet on the prime minister's account earlier on Monday said he was in "good spirits" and in touch with "his team"

Jno, chatterbank posts don’t go onto the homepage listing. They do appear in latest posts but an instance where the prime minister is sent to the ICU should be in news.

I tried to find a thread, couldn’t so posted in news to get replies solely telling me there are currently threads so i asked for the thread to be removed.
Canary they tell you what they want you to know -this is not necessarily the whole truth.

TD - should have posted quicker then (and I’ll post where I wish and the Ed/spare Ed can move any post as they see fit)
just a precaution, as I thought. I won't be donning black just yet.
