Apparently the list was compiled from information submitted from GPs

Having had s rare lung condition that red starred me at my GP surgery and has meant flu jabs were advised since I was very much younger, I also have a heart condition and am disabled. I feel quite angry. Fortunately I have someone who can shop for us. We are both over 70. This has meant I can't benefit from the special service from supermarkets.

There are others who wont be as fortunate

I believe you can register yourself, if you think you have been missed. But maybe ring GP first...x

We’re in a similar position, but our GP’s surgery is running a skeleton staff purely to help those people who fall into the ‘grey’ category of being not quite ill enough.

TD. Fair enough. Lung conditions through smoking are at risk. Smokers undiagnosed with lung/heart conditions can't be expected to be called 'at risk'.

I have severe asthma but not on the list but as my Missus can go out (with mask and gloves etc) we will leave slots for those that need them.

when the list was first publicised, they said that while they had done their best, people who had been missed could and should register themselves and people who got the letter in error should not be panicked by it.

Bednobs, why are you so aggressive. I am angry because thousands were left off the list. I clearly said I am fortunate, but others will be less fortunate.

My mum is 78 and dad is 84. Mum has asthma a mild heart condition and early onset dementia. Dad has CLL and a skin cancer they have cancelled his operation for.

They didn’t get the letter from the government and assumed they could go out.

Needless to say we have put them right.

because its pointless being angry. Chris witty today said that there are 16m people that could be classed as vulnerable. There is no central register, so they have done well to identify the people that they could. there are bound to be people who are missed off, but those people can register themselves if they feel they are vulnerable but have been missed

No point being angry, you quite clearly have the nous to get things sorted yourself. Given how much is going on and in such a short space of time I think things are quite well organised (I have things I could be ‘angry’ about but it’s a waste of effort and a mere drop in the ocean when you think about the bigger picture).
