Not only is Boris enjoying the PM's country retreat but also his bit on the side. So she hasn't breached government guidelines regarding staying home, saving lives etc etc ???

Well APG - do you have any argument to counter mine above?
didlydon't
Boris and Carrie made an unnecessary journey by going to Chequers. Another rule is that you remain in your primary residence - Chequers is not their primary residence.

Boris left the hospital, therefore he had to make a journey.
Better to head to Chequers away from the goings-on in Downing street surely?
Chequers was gifted to the nation for all Prime Ministers to use for.......
guess what?................Rest and Recuperation when not occupied with affairs of state and regularly attending Hof C. He is resting at a place which he has been given to do just that. He has no need to attend Westminster for as long as he is on sick leave. He, no doubt,is feeling very weak and can rebuild his strength by using the swimming pool at Chequers and long walks around the grounds in the fresh air. Both activities are well away from other people apart from his fiancee who has also suffered the virus.
He has to be moved out of St Thomas hospital to free up a bed. The journey to Chequers would involve the same car, driver and security back up as if he had been driven to No10. What better purpose does he serve at No10 that can't be achieved at Chequers.
You must feel incredibly proud of yourself as you have shown yourself to be a one off and totally unique because any one else, that actually matters in the grand scheme of things, have not raised any complaint about his recuperation programme.
You also display how unique you are ,in so much, as his most vehement political rivals have wished him well and not belittled themselves as sad, bitter nasty, inhumane, trolls.

I have never wished him ill so stop making it up. What I do wish is that he abided by his own rules. End of.
//I have never wished him ill so stop making it up.//

You have never wished him well with the hope he recovers soon, and in the right place ,in the circumstances he finds himself, either.
That's you lot told.
No 10, at this time especially, it is very busy, not the place to be if you're recuperating from a serious illness. Whereas Chequers, the place set aside for the use of all Prime Ministers, is.
Quite surprised that diddly hasn't had a go at the Queen for moving away from her main home or is it just tories she has a go at.
Just the Tories as all the rest are perfect.
Nooooo, shedman , please lol
Question Author
As I am led to believe that Boris and Carrie were living in No 11, the fact that No 10 is a busy place is irrelevant as it wouldn't affect Boris.
Oh "end of" last resort when losing the "discussion"
I see diddly ignored that one lol.
Question Author
My "end of" was to the person/people who were accusing me of saying things I had never said.
So what about the post at 15.43 then diddly.
diddly, I honestly can’t see what possible difference it makes to you where Boris recuperates. With all the troubles this country has right now it can well do without petty-minded petulance.
You still upsetting the radicalised Diddly ?.
I've no idea who the radicalised are, Gulliver, but all she's doing is making a fool of herself. She's impressing no one ... well apart from you .... and that doesn't count.
diddly we are still waiting to hear your thoughts on the post at 15.43 yesterday. You put the thread on so it is only fair that you answer questions on it when asked. It was a valid question so please let us have an answer or people may think you are only picking on one couple.

Shedman - in answer to your question. It may surprise you to know that I have the greatest affection, admiration and respect for HM The Queen. She can reside wherever she chooses and always, I believe, goes to Windsor for Easter. No problem.
