Doreen Lawrence Corona Racist
is this a good idea, when people are dying daily round britain of all colours and creeds.
to me it's wrong when so many have lost family friends etc, and it's ongoing, labour trying to score points already, and say it's government inaction, thye don't care about ethnics.

The outcome of the government's investigation will be interesting.
something i read the other day about muslims washing there hands five times a day..whatever, and that 40% of muslims women do not work or integrate, was why they are not catching it as much?
i like 40% do not work or integrate, probably higher than that though.
so the baroness should look at that as well, less it scews the figures.
and it all so shows polarised communities by choice.

I'm sorry that Doreen Lawrence lost her son, Stephen, to racist murderers, but that is not a qualification to become a legislator.
We can speculate on the reasons for the disproportionate figures, but know what areas need investigating.
Genetic?
Cultural? (Living in voluntary overcrowded conditions, such as three or four generations living together.)
Probably others as well.
However, it highlights the ridiculous appointment of Doreen Lawrence to the House Of Lords, and further proves the idiocy of this outdated institution.

God, the ravings of the brainboxes round here, it’s degenerating from junior school playground to the special school.
“The review will examine why the virus appears to disproportionately impact those from ethnic minority backgrounds.“
Which it (the virus) does! How on earth can you concoct something to rant about out of that?

1. Are people from black (especially) and other minority ethnic backgrounds affected more by the virus than you would expect from their numbers in the UK? Yes
2. Do we know why? No
It could be societal, it could be genetic, it could be economic - we have no idea at the moment - but knowing the answer could be very useful
3. Should someone have a look to see why? Yes
4. Is the Government already planning to do this? Yes
5. Should Labour also investigate? Why not - it's a free country.
6. Should Doreen Lawrence oversee the Labour investigation?
Probably better not - she is far too tainted with the brush of 'kneejerk cries of racism' whenever her community perceives itself to be the victim of discrimination.
This needs someone with a clear head, no instinctive search for a racist element in the answer, and a mix of scientific and statistical abilities - I don't see much of any of those qualities in Doreen Lawrence.

the answer is simple, let's for example take a block of flats in london
now..let's imagine all those flats are taken by bame or just blacks.
now again, imagine they all have about 6 or more kids each, living in and around said flats.. and none listen to advice by government, teenagers who wont stay in..let alone possibly the single parent, you have a big social club mixing together, and who go out to, get infected and infect others.

>as for asians some have two or three generations living together
where as the white population do not,
I understand quite a few white East Europeans families here do that too though
As a slight aside, one of the journalists quizzing Matt Hancock or whoever at a COVID briefing suggested that due to the Windrush scandal blacks with Covid were scared to go to hospital in case they got deported. I wanted Matt Hancock to say- "surely that doesn't explain all the BAME doctors and nurses deaths"

this is an interesting read, concerning NHS and healthcare workers.
