We'll have to see how it plays out, Spicey. Any accusation of sexual assault deserves to be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. What was disappointing about the Kavanaugh case was that in the end it mattered more to the Republicans to get their man onto the Supreme Court than whether or not there was any truth in the allegations. It seems likely that, for the moment at least, the Democrats are reacting in the same way.

I never claimed it didn't exist. I claimed that the existence of the second half invalidates any claims that the praise of the photo was on its own merits. Which it does -- Because that's how juxtaposition works. That's the exact point you were trying to make.
