APG: "Same as the Nightingale hospitals that were never ever going to be even 50% occupancy because they had no staff to run them! " - rot - nothing to do with staff, NGH was for NHS overflow, the existing hospitals handled it mostly.
lankeela, for me the security issue is not the main issue. It will just not work -read my post 12.03
What, anuther one!
TTT you can be as aggressive with me as you like it goes in one ear out the other pet. Its not rot. There were not enough staff to run the Nightingales even at 25% occupancy.

I don’t see how it will be possible to go back to ‘normal’ for at least 5 years if this goes on for more than another 3 months.
There will be mass unemployment unless the Govt ‘find’ the money to continue the furlough schemes.
If they don’t, benefit claims will cripple any potential for growth.
I've just found a wire coat hanger to shove down my collar as I walk about so to get a better signal. :0)))))))))))
There were a lot of small businesses hanging on the skin of their teeth befoe covid-19 -these will suffer and its sad but an economical fact. Other businesses will thrive as things get back to normal. I think the hospitality industry will suffer the most, but I doubt it will take years to get back on its feet -everyone likes a drink and a meal, going on holiday etc. Places will be packed out. My hairdresser, who I know personally - has been given the £10K grant from the government. She says she'll have to take on extra hairdressers when she can reopen as she can fill her appointment book 3 times over on people who have contacted her so far.
No, I won't be putting this app on my phone.
"woofgang, he's quoting TTT on the previous page"

oh okay, I thought he (spicerack) meant somebody with actual control had said it :)
APG I think you are right. Yes sadly there will be people who are struggling to make ends meet and who won't come out of this with spare cash but I think that those who can will want to SPEND. I have said partially in jest but not entirely, that if I had money to invest I would put it in champagne company shares.
Yes jim your link is propaganda.
//i'm probably naive but i think this time next year we'll be living life as we did pre-virus//
i meant regarding social interaction, not economically

They couldn't move staff from the hospitals.
It would spoil the dance routines.
Perhaps, APG. In the end it was never tested in practice.
We now have the largest homeless centre's in the world.
ZM 12:43, which is why, in the end they'll force a TTI app, or we're back in the stone age. The government know it they are just trying to find a way to do it.
this may never go away, it could become the new common cold with constantly mutating strains.
For me, this link says it all:
