There's been a worldwide shortage of PPE since this thing started. People who maintain it's a problem that's limited to a single country because of incompetence or whatever are just looking to make political capital out of the situation. You'd think that it such extraordinary times the partisan nonsense would be put on hold for a while, but apparently not.

That didn't seem to worry the Tory Party in 2010 Election Campaign in reference to the world-wide economic collapse which they canvassed as the fault of Labour. This in spite of Labour having hauled us out of recession, only for the first Tory budget to plunge us back in again.

IF the British media had any sense or compassion and were truly neutral in their reporting, then mention of other countries having shortages of PPE should have been mentioned.

However, their death rate of 87 per million compares well with Britain's 443, so their worries are on a different level.
