People who maintain it's a problem that's limited to a single country because of incompetence or whatever are just looking to make political capital out of the situation. You'd think that it such extraordinary times the partisan nonsense would be put on hold for a while, but apparently not.

That didn't seem to worry the Tory Party in 2010 Election Campaign in reference to the world-wide economic collapse which they canvassed as the fault of Labour. This in spite of Labour having hauled us out of recession, only for the first Tory budget to plunge us back in again.
But with the partisan nonsense you post, I wouldn't expect you to accept that.
