More Stupid People Not Listening To The Advice.
No wonder our death toll is going up when people cant listen to simple advice.

Your first answer to this thread sums up the title of it. Health workers are more at risk from it in work because of people ignoring the advice given and ending up in hospital because they ignore it but some can't see this and some never will.

All the previous warning have fell on deaf ears Webbo, this lot and others like them should be slapped with an on the spot fine, if they don’t pay, then it should be a court appearance like any other none fine payer, it’s no good Ministers standing behind a podium asking people ‘nicely’ they’re clearly not bothered about it , in fact ANYONE going against what has been asked of us is bloody minded and don’t deserve the protection the NHS and key workers are providing for them !
Stupid is not the right word.
People have to get on with their lives and whether that means taking a stroll in the park or getting on the bus to go to the shops or to work they will do it. As I said from the beginning, the lockdown is being maintained by consent, not force or fear. That consent will be (and it seems already is being) gradually withdrawn. I suggested the beginning of June will see a major shift in attitude. It will be more rapidly withdrawn when it is spelled out to people (e.g. those on 80% wages from the taxpayer) that their cash will soon run out unless they go to work.
I'm afraid the stupid people are those who believe this situation can continue until either the virus disappears (which it will do but will take a considerable time) or an effective vaccine is developed (which is unlikely). If you believe that you're deluded. If you don't believe that, what alternatives do you have in mind because the current situation will fall apart sooner rather than later?

I think there should have been a warning that over this bank holiday weekend police would be more proactive and stop and question people at random and inconvenience them if they flout the rules or guidance. The problem the police have is that if they challenge people they get criticised for being over zealous
Funerals are limited to 10 people and then there's this:

The hospital i work in has changed beyond all belief, huge perspex screens all round the reception desks, nurses in ppe screening people before they enter, pretty much all appointments have been cancelled, im working 1 week on and 1 off.
these will be the people criticising the government yet ignoring the advice and being paid to do it.
This is why they are stupid 10Clarionst

NJ, I wouldn’t have imagined the scenario of furloughing people for 3 months, 3 months ago but here we are. I’m sure lockdown will be eased very very gradually, and keeping an eye on other countries.
Germany’s idea of restarting sporting events seems to have come a cropper:

And they are experiencing ‘aftershocks’:

I’m sure there will be ‘rebels’ who openly flout the guidelines but I’m hoping the authorities deal with these appropriately.
