I'm now more hopeful we'll see pubs open here (with restrictions on numbers) by maybe end of July. I originally thought it would be nearer Christmas

I used to drink Fosters lager in 1 litre tins which was imported from Oz.
There was a traveller's hostel in London Street Paddington called The Nomad Club and they sold ,Oz ,South African, tinned beers. You wouldn't believe it in this day and age but the litre tins of Fosters were lethal and I could barely finish two tins. I am talking 1970s. The VB (Victoria Brewery) was quite good.
