The rules were/are easy to understand.
12 people in your garden cannot be explained by not understanding the guidance. Another example of someone who think they are so important that they are above the rules that everyone has to adhere to.
At least she has done a mea culpa and stood down. Someone else didn’t and compounded the original sin by hard facing it out.

Correct. I am drawing a comparison between Cummings and The Deputy Mayor of Liverpool. The thread was addressed to diddlydoo who has incessantly bored us to death with her Cummings diatribes but,in company with her fellow lefty supporters, has kept remarkably silent about the alleged contravention of guidelines by the Kinnocks and this woman.Yes . She stepped down. She was not social distancing and would appear to have socialised with people who were not immediate members of her family living under the same roof. Cummings did not contravene social distancing guidelines and was with his immediate family only.

to repeat the short answer: Cummings broke rules he and his associates made in the first place. The deputy mayor of Liverpool, and Kinnock, didn't. This woman has none the less stood down.

Give me a break. She was caught doing the wrong thing and resigned (or was pushed). Cummings was also caught doing the wrong thing and didn't resign (and wasn't pushed either).

You made the original comparison between the two, not me.
