Somebody Is Taking Over My Friend Home And Pretending Him.
I'm from foreign country so first I apologize for my incorrect grammar.
I have a very close friend in the US. He is an American. He was my professor at college and also he shared room with me and other international students.
After graduating, I went back to my country. We email a few times in a year.
Starting some change a few years ago, he started to talk only general things and not to talk about himself. well, cutting stories here. I asked him recent photo of him, then I got old pics. I asked more, he gave me modified pic. This time he has no family and we do not have common friends, so I can not ask anybody to check him.
The worst case scenario I have is somebody or some people illegally live in his house. My friend does not live anymore and this someone is keeping his house and trying make his friends like me believe my friend still exist.
short story should not be convincing for who is reading this, but suppose I am right, what action can I take?
I'm in the US.
I'm planning to go to his town soon.
I have some US friends from college in his town.
