Richard Desmond, former owner of the Daily Express wanted to build on a former print works on the Isle of Dogs. But the local council and independent planning inspectorate rejected the plan.
So Desmond went to Cabinet minister Robert Jenrick, Housing Secretary who approved the development. A few days later Desmond dutifully made a £12,000 donation to the Conservative Party.

If you are just insinuating without any real basis perhaps you should be careful. People can get upset when accused of things they can prove they have not done and tend to revert to the Court. AB needs to be careful too.

When asked at the Daily Briefing, Jenrick said
