//Retro; however the resident ah implied that a crime has to be committed before an arrest can be made. //

Confused the hell out of me also. As you quite correctly asserted the primary aim is to prevent the commission of the crime and not stand by and abet it.
Of course there is a matter of observations. In some occasions an officer would have to satisfy himself a suspect has fulfilled certain criteria (ingredients if you like) before he can justify the suspicion of intent.

Unless you're in the Avon and Somerset Police, of course.
Its all part of the NWO takeover plan TTT. Where is Soros - anyone?

With the benefit of your experience, I must confess that I was in error in saying that you cannot arrest someone for what they might do - because that is clearly not the case.

What I should have said was, you cannot arrest someone for what you think they might do, which is based on a potential act that is not evidenced at the time.

So yes, I would agree that you can arrest a man if he appears to be preparing to drive his car when he is unfit through drink or dugs, but you cannot arrest him for 'potentially killing a child' - which was the inflammatory observation on which I commented, but I did not state my position clearly, and I am happy to stand corrected.
There’s no one alive today that has been a Slave, who owned a Slave and I thank God for that , I really can’t get into the mindset of what these people want ,the biggest racist ever to live was Hitler , that was recent in our history , I heard said on a phone in programme last night, these people are fed up with being locked down and they’re out venting their spleen, excuses and more excuses.....and that’s both black and white !!!
Why Is Highlighting The Facts So Wrong?

Because here in Oceania 2020, Newspeak ensures facts are wrong, fake news, and you must only repeat the popular official view or suffer the consequences.
Lambeth Palace have tried and failed to locate any record of a Q&A between ABoC and reporters but say that in the interest of truth they'll check again.
It was a long time ago after all. They did warn that it may all just be the product of an over active imagination though, journalistic licence if you will.
The matter may be closed but subject to periodic review.

I hoped after a refreshing night's sleep that you would have managed to let this go, but it seems your obsession has woken up as intense and front and centre as ever.

I really do think you need a hobby.

(Hint - obsessing over my posts past and present doesn't qualify.)

doesn't matter if it's true anyway, it serves as an illustration, which is what I think AH was attempting.
It may be lawful for a police officer to arrest someone who he suspects is about to commit an offence. but surely it is not lawful for the police officer to carry out the death sentence without a trial.
A-H
Many thanks for clarifying your positionat 0946. I am less confused.
No no Tora, for an 'illustration' he could have borrowed 'Derek'.

As to members not letting go, the man's obviously unaware of what goes on with his own keyboard.

Anyway, it's not the first and won't be the last time a little creativity is slipped in, for colour as it were.

Over and out (unless goaded into reply) X

My pleasure.

Oh you have noticed have you? That is why the main offender is facing a Murder 2 charge and his colleagues are facing charges of allowing him to do it!

I am slipping into my sackcloth as I type …

Oh please, could we all be that lucky????
Retro; that's good news then. Agreed?

It depends on when and how the facts are highlighted. You wouldn't turn up at someone's funeral and stand up to declare you'd been having a secret affair with the deceased for five years in front of his\her bereaved family.

I'd suggest that would be wrong, however factual.

You are letting your sense of sensation get ahead of you here.

I can't imagine, and I doubt anyone else will, a police officer 'carrying out a death sentence' as you floridly put it, in public in broad daylight, being filmed at the time.

My point exactly.

Context is everything, and revealing a man's criminal past after his wrongful death does nothing except paint his actions in a light which may not be accurate, but which allows the sensationalist media to pick up the ball and run with it.
Bobbi; there are still slaves and slave owners.
