Funny, isn't it how different cultures work? During my years in France I came to recognise men urinating in public as a normal thing - one averted one's eyes. In fact we used to call it 'a chap being French'. This man quite
obviously chose by far the wrong site, but I believe he was half-seas-over. (Doesn't excuse, but explains it.)

Ladies, if they had a car, used to open both front and rear doors and crouch in the intervening space. No problem, either sex, to anyone.

Different ideas. Different worlds.
Getting jail time for outraging public decency rather than a fine for urinating in a public space. Wrong place wrong time.
It's a shame they havnt made examples of the others instead of going on bended knee to them isn't it. This half wit deserved everything he got although I agree with jno I doubt he even realised what he was doing (and he was next to it not on it as so widely reported). But one sided justice leads to more resentment.

Police are past their sell by date, perhaps BLM are right they should be disbanded.
I doubt he was sober enough to know where he was urinating .

That has to be the crassest post of the week.
They need a massive clear out, danny.
If you think it's anything like the force you were in, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken.
SR, I have no illusions about the force being the same as it was.It has deteriorated beyond belief, but the idea of disbanding it is ludicrous.
