//All the other stuff. Jeez! “Slow the testing down! We’ve got too many cases.” WTAF?!//
Trump logic Jo, if they don't test people, they don't test positive, and if they don't test positive, the virus is gone. All 'cos of the bestest president ever.
I guess it plays to Trump's strengths to speak to a room that is, by definition, neither able nor particularly willing to challenge him. A true master of the crowd-pleasing art, as long as the crowd is full of sycophants :)
It was good to hear that some people had some sense and stayed away (due to C-19, not due to Trump being Trump). By all accounts, the venue was well under capacity and the zone they had for overflow, which Trump was also due to address, was closed without being used.
I guess some people weren't happy signing that coronavirus waiver.
If they had Bernie instead of Hillary five years ago, Trump would never have gotten in, but the Democrats were as scared of Sanders as the Republicans were, because he wouldn't necessarily have followed the party line.
Honestly I'm sitting here listening to his "America will be destroyed" if Biden wins, and thinking about how keen the opposition to Trump is to defeat him in November.
Exactly how is this going to end well? Imagine the anger, the rage, if Trump wins *again* because of some quirk of the system that values the States more than the citizens. Imagine the anger and the rage if Trump loses and his BS rhetoric about fraud leads to people thinking that the election was stolen. And if he does lose then imagine what he will do with the three-month transition. It could be utterly chaotic.
Wasn't there a recording of him saying (years ago) that if he ever ran for President, it would be as a Republican, as they are so gullible, he'd have them eating out of his hand? He wasn't wrong.
