Could it be that people are fed up with having BLM everywhere they look, sport,tv,newspapers, demonstrations and so on, that a lone guy says also White Lives Matter....Burnley is going to impose a lifetime ban for this, perhaps saying Black and white lives matter may have been a more powerful message?

White Lives don't matter do they? Three white people murdered at the weekend by a coloured maniac. It's got nothing to do with Burnley FC. As I've said before on here, I can't believe the Premier League and all the clubs have got themselves roped into this. What do they hope to gain? What do BLM hope to gain? Does anyone know?
In my opinion, the club were correct to apologise and distance themselves from this stunt. Had they said nothing, some would see it as BFC having condoned it. And, whoever chartered the flight cannot claim to be a fan of the club, knowing full well the controversy this action would lead to. Those responsible have most likely never set foot inside Turf Moor.
10CS/emmie- yes the plane flew over City's ground but the banner said "White Lives Matter Burnley!" and a Burnley fan has claimed responsibility for organising the flight , paid for via a crowdfunding exercise organised by a small group of Burnley fans.
So Burnley FC wanted to disassociate themselves from it. Certainly nothing to do with Man City, hence no apology from them

Apologise for what? Someone having the temerity to hold an opinion that doesn’t comply with the current politically correct requirement that we're all expected to embrace? How very dare they? In my opinion football clubs should have distanced themselves from it all in the first place. They should stick to playing football - not politics.
