if they were so keen to come to the uk, they would have years ago.
protestors brought it on themselves, if they did not protest, the new laws would not have come in, remonds of the blm protests, china said..right then..do i agree with china..no, law and order yes, idiots ruined for the majority..

They were protesting the direction in which things were going, which included the new laws. One can't really believe that the protests caused the law change and clampdown. At most it sped things up, and publicised what was happening; which was a better option than just letting it slide unopposed.
