He can keep his mitts of Kayleigh McEnany (sp) she's tough.

Might be good to have someone stand at a podium and put the reporters in their place.

Frees Boris up to do his own job.

(Sorry, can't keep a straight face at that - Boris abandoned his crediblity a month or so ago - some would say he never had any)

What do you mean by 'keep the reporters in their place'? It's their job to ask the hard questions. Not that they were much cop against Cummings.
they don't ask hard questions, they ask insulting ones.

Off topic, the Scottish ones, not only in the daily briefings, but before that, have never asked the FM anything difficult, most of them would have you believe that everything is sweet in Scotland.

Just a thought - it would keep other cabinet ministers from making faux pas and who would Andrew Marr and others interview??
Nigel Farage , for this position . He has definitely got the Gob for the Job.

Not sure what you mean about 'insulting questions' but we can respectfully disagree. My main complaint with them is that they should be very well informed and often aren't, or they've not done their research thoroughly enough resulting in ineffective or inept questions that are easily fielded and fobbed off.

Or Katie Hopkins. Banned from mouthing off elsewhere; could be just the ticket for her.
ineffective or inept questions - oh brother, I do agree with that completely

I thimk we're on the same page, and I'm obviously not expressing myself well. The insulting ones are ''do you accept that...''
That is asking for their opinion and not asking for facts or reasons about why something was decided on.

Would certainly be an interesting experiment and one I'd like to see.
Government posts a job vacancy shocker.

Total non-story.
We already have their language, crap telly, dodgy food chains and obesity, why not another American idea to enrich us?
I thought all PM's already had a press officer; Ingram, Campbell etc? Why does he need someone to speak for him? He's already got a bucket gob anyway hasn't he?
// they don't ask hard questions, they ask insulting ones.//

have you seen a trump new conference ( fr'instance last night) they sit mute whilst the Great Man mouths off ( arf I mean )
this time on what a great jarb he is doing and how no one is dying they have a vaccine almost and hydroxychloroquine still works even tho people say it doesnt
