Why Are We In Lockdown In Greater Manchester

When all the illegal raves and protests etc are going on down south? The beaches at Brighton , Bournemouth, Dorset and Cornwall are packed I haven't seen any pictures of Blackpool and Southport beaches like this.Heathrow is packed with travellers returning from holiday and London beer gardens are packed, and we in the North are in lockdown. It isn't fair!

I’d have thought the situation in Manchester etc, coupled with the question, heavily indicates that the virus in fact seems to spread much more readily indoors.

Social distancing isn't going on anywhere from what I can see. How do they know it's because of people not distancing in Manchester, Where are the photos to prove it? I haven't seen any.I know why they did it when they did,and so do a lot of people.

Social distancing is live and well here in East Anglia, despite the higher than average number of tourists coming to visit the coast and the Norfolk Broads. Its just not happening in Greater Manchester!

Barsel, the evidence is in the test and trace, If the track of infections match up to families, to people who live in close proximity and so on, then the trail is easy to follow and pretty much incontrovertible. Fair has nothing to do with it.

It's Test and Trace rather than Track and Trace. Regional figures for Test and Trace are expected to be released July-August
