you never done a podcast or zoom meeting anne? or indeed any meeting where the attendees need to be given a chance to assemble in whatever media it is? All he's doing is is waiting for those who want to listen. I assume you disagree with him though as clearly you are trying to detract from the message by nit picking.
Well, to be fair, given all the gerrymandering in the US the system is pretty rigged in multiple ways anyway. But in this particular case Trump is going on about postal voting, which is likely to be a factor in an election affected by Covid-19, while strangely being supportive of absentee ballots, which are in practice the exact same thing.
Recently, Trump has appointed a new postmaster general, Louis DeJoy, who has overseen a major restructuring of the postal service that is likely to have the effect of increasing delivery times, which in turn could affect postal voting if they have to arrive at the counting office by election day. Whether this is a coincidence or deliberate I don't know, but it's difficult not to see a link between a President railing against postal voting, and the same president appointing somebody taking action that will affect postal voting.

Far from it, but I can't be bothered wasting much time outlining "all I've got" to someone who can't see even the potential of a link between attacking the legitimacy of postal voting and appointing somebody who is effectively making it harder to vote by post.
Can Trump lose the election legitimately? (Not *will* he, which we will only find out later this year, but *can* he?) Yes. So why is he pretending that he cannot? He even attacked 2016, claiming that the margin in the popular vote that time was fraudulent to the tune of "millions" of illegal votes, with exactly no evidence.
It should be a cause for concern when the incumbent of an office is attempting to destroy any legitimacy of his defeat. I can accept that Trump, who is particularly bad at losing, is posturing, but such loose talk has consequences. Do you think his supporters will accept the legitimacy of the result, should he lose, given all he has said about "the most RIGGED election in our nations [sic] history", and how his opponents will "cheat"?

Hmm... Well, I don't think Biden had any real choice as to who to choose as a running mate. There would have been howls of outrage if he had not chosen a black woman, wouldn't there? From what I've heard on radio etc. today there is a triumphalist note coming through from the Dems. on the lines that the election now has a racial dimension and that black people will vote for a black candidate - well, that's how it has sounded to me.
I now think that I will have a flutter on the Trump (if the odds against improve, they were almost evens last week) because of all the white backs where hackles will rise at the thought of a presidential election fought on racial lines.
I'm sure this wasn't intended, but I think it is entirely possible.
