Starting To Feel Sorry For Boris.
On the 2nd JAN this year, Boris stood on the steps of Downing St, and announced with a double thumbs up sign........"This is going to be a fantastic year for Britain".......Little did he realise then, what was ahead.
Boris is not famous for his honesty, but that day he did not realise he was telling the biggest unintentional lie of his life.

Grumpy - the OP is about BJ telling a "lie" because in Jan he said it was going to be good year, even though it's turned out to be a car crash.
Gulliver is, absurdly, suggesting that in Jan BJ told a lie, the inference being, I think (I say "I think" because I'm trying to second guess an idiot) that BJ knew it was going to be rubbish because of Covid.
I could be wrong - I'm just trying to second guess somebody who is retarded.
