Despite getting the blame for all Covid cobras, Tory party still has a workable majority. How open does the goal have to be for Labour to score?

The Tories had an incredibly strong position earlier in the year, and they are gradually slipping from that, and it's unlikely that this is as far as they can fall.
Watch the ratings after this is widely known. Boris tells the EUSSR to do one after they insisted that Britain could not encourage it's own businesses and interests above those of the EUSSR's. Talk about bare faced cheek. I should think that Boris is laughing his bits orrf.

It's all a bit pointless at the moment.
Polls will be showing people who will sound off at their disgust of the way Johnson has handled the virus - like myself.
However come a general elections would I put my X next to Rodney?
In addition it has to be remembered many voters 'lent' their vote to Boris to get us out the EU. He has done this, we are out so I would expect many of those lent votes to return to where they came from.

It rather depends, Jim, on whether or not Boris delivers the sort of Brexit that was voted for. Any fudging on the issues of fishing, level playing field, freedom from EU laws etc, will bring the wrath of not only the newly acquired seats on his head, but also that of established, but narrowly held Tory seats. In fact, it could be a wipe-out. I'm sure he's aware of that, or at least I hope so. A good, clean Brexit will clear him of a lot of other sins/incompetencies.
