The EU has no intention of addressing the migrant problem. Its solution is to distribute the migrants around the EU. Thankfully we're no longer part of that system but of course we have our own problems with illegal entries from France.

Except you've forgotten that the UN Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees (to which both the UK and France are signatories) provides for more or less the same thing.

No I won't be doing so. Both the Dublin Agreement and the UN Convention state that the illegal entrants could (and I would say should) be returned whence they came. That's what I'm looking to see done.
