The similarities to Edward VIII are remarkable. A besotted man throws everything up for the love of a calculating woman and ends up as a pitiful outsider. Netflix should make the film. All I feel for them is shame
As a republican I think all this is excellent News.
As they are still Titled they are effectively still representing the Crown. Creating a program on woke rank hypocracy should be a good step in the right direction of getting rid of this bunch of spongers.
The only people I do feel sorry for is the Queen and Princess Anne. I have nothing against them and I think they have, and still do work hard for the Country.
Once they get hold of the cash maybe they can pay us back for Frogmore so another bonus point.
It is a really odd thing for Netflix to do, and very risky. I am sure there will be others who feel the same way as others on here so they could loose more subscriptions than they gain.
That is of course if Netflix have actually signed a blank cheque to do this.
Why oh why are people so against anything they do..I believe Harry is very happy building his new life around his own little family.
I know nothing about Netflix..don't have it nor want it but it doesn't matter what they do it will never be enough for some people.. good luck to them I say..
Obviously the people at Netflix see a huge earning opportunity here, and I am sure they have their finger on the pulse of what will sell far better than any of us.
I shall not be watching anything they do, but those who do can judge if they are worth the time and expense or not.
That's the joy of living in a free society - if you don't care, you're not obliged to get involved.
//The Obamas have a similar deal with Netflix, but I don't see them getting slated for it.//
Much as I dislike the Obama's he was nevertheless the President of the USA for 8 years. He has a far greater understanding of the World than a z-list actress and Dim wit.

Perhaps if he renounced the Titles and paid back the money for Frogmore House people might be a bit more receptive.
Oh and stop banging on about the environment whilst using private jets and the never ending wokeness (from someone who really does have white priviledge)

Oh no:-((( Gonna cancel my Netflix subscription immediately, if not sooner. Oh, wait a mo, I could always just choose not to watch whatever programmes they appear in, couldn't I?
What did anyone think they going to do to pay the bills, go and get a job in WalMart?
For some reason some British people think that they are custodians of these people's behaviour. From Harry's perspective - being simply a mammal like the rest of us maybe he thinks he was just unlucky to have dropped out of the wrong womb, has sucked it up for 30 years and now he wants a different life with the girl he loves. It's not the middle ages anymore, Royalty is just a pantomime nowadays and when Elizabeth passes it will lose whatever shred of importance it's still got in the eyes of the World at large. This actually makes me a bit sad as I love tradition and history but reality bites sometimes.
