I haven't seen anything that said they were shagging, or that anyone else was involved - when I read the story I assumed they'd been out drinking or something

Their private lives are just that,the main issue is the potential disregard for their team mates by breaching the rules.

apparently the girls posted pictures on Snapchat; but I haven't seen anything to suggest they were doing anything improper other than just being together when the boys were supposed to be in their bubble.

The girls said they were unaware that the footballers were in quarantine, the girls went of their own accord to the police once local opinion had made itself well known. Because they were not to have anyone in their rooms, two additional rooms were booked by/for the pair. For breaking quarantine they were fined the maximum by the Icelandic authorities, about £1400 each.
