I know what that sentence means but it doesn't say whether meetings of more than can meet if they are not from the same extended household- eg can I meet six friends
//THE number of people who can meet indoors at any one time in Wales will be limited to six from Monday, September 14 - and all six must belong to the same extended household group.

First Minister Mark Drakeford will confirm the change to the rules on people meeting indoors later today.//
I think they meant to say groups of up to 6 from an extended household can meet indoors, but groups of any size from different households can't meet indoors at all
Or if you have more than six in your immediate family - do you have to turf out the excess ?:-)
From BBC Cymru:

Fe fydd yn anghyfreithlon i fwy na chwech o bobl o aelwyd estynedig gyfarfod dan do yng Nghymru o ddydd Llun.

All clear now?

Oh My Go Go Goch !
Dear me, no you do not have to oust someone who lives in your family home, I don't know if Wales has the same rules as Scotland re not counting the under 12s.

Check your Government's page.
The above is a Welsh translation of:
//Indoor meetings of more than six from an extended household will be illegal from Monday\\
The quote on extended households (as used by the media) only makes sense if it's read in conjunction with the preceding paragraph from the announcement (which the media seem to have omitted!):

"At the moment, people are allowed to gather socially indoors with people from up to four other households, but only if they have formed an exclusive extended household (also known as a bubble).

From Monday, only a maximum of six people from the extended household will be able to meet indoors at any one time. This rule applies in pubs and restaurants as well as in people’s homes. Children under 11 will not be counted in the six"

I've checked and Birmingham isn't in Wales, bazile. I can provide a map via a link if necessary.
I blame the teachers for the problems people are having with comprehension
