The only reason it’s unusual is because we have a pandemic, surely you realise this, how old are you? Had this not happened, I am sure the Tories would be way ahead, as Mr Starmer does not inspire. We have 4 more years to go, at which time we will see what happens. Nobody knows how any other Government would handle the present situation, we are in unknown territory.
It’s one poll and there’s no election in sight and for labour to win without Scotland would seem to require a political earthquake.
Nonetheless it is the first poll showing the party as opposed to just SKS ahead of the government.
That won’t be good news for everyone but still ...
The poll isn’t about the party. The article clearly says ‘ Keir Starmer ahead by four points on who would be better prime minister’. You can maybe extrapolate that the party would naturally follow this trend but then you’d be theorising on an opinion poll which isn’t very wise.
//// gulliver1 Question Author 09.58 I can always tell when I have rattled TTTs Cage
....When he comes out with the same old , same old , same old quip.///
That's what you must of been put on this earth for, to 'rattle' cages, must say you do excel at that small vocation of yours
Protest intention, when everyone is fed up of the present situation, is unlikely to swing the political spectrum much at the next GE. Memories of antidemocratic actions will stay with golk for a long long time, whilst ire at making a mess of cov management will fade faster as, 'one of the things screwed up, but no government gets everything right'.
