Thanks for the correction, I thought Johnson had been very ill with the virus.
7,500,000 Americans have had the virus. Over 200,000 have died. We have been out of the step with the rest of the world in trying to protect our citizens. We have a worse record than China and Indian who have bigger populations than us. Our President and Governors have let us down badly.
Hopefully, if any good comes out of this, it may be that POTUS begins to to stop denying Coronavirus is not a problem, and begins to deal with it.

I was particularly struck by how, at the debate recently, Trump's family and a lot of Trump's advisors were refusing to wear masks in spite of the rules at the venue. Leaving aside the fact that it was horribly arrogant of them (especially when an official at the venue clearly tried to point out the rules and offer them a chance to put masks on), I'm going to bet that that's the last time we'll see Trump's family breaking such rules.
It's easy to be flippant when the problem only affects other people.

I'm not going to enter the fray between smugness from the lefties and the faux indignation from the right, but I'll say this: I'm quite pleased that he has got it. Not because I want him to die, because I really don't, but it'll be good for him to feel a little of what others have felt. It might just knock him off of his pedestal and teach him a little much needed humility. I wish him a speedy recovery, but have little sympathy towards him.
