He's got to be the most boring man in politics today, to me he is a clone of John Major.
His monotone voice grates on me, why on earth the Labour Party think that he is the Messiah and will lead them into forming the next government is way beyond me, they're having a laugh surely, he needs a rocket up his backside, how did he ever get to where he is, tut tut, there is hope for us all.

Keir

Surely he doesn’t bore you that much that you fall asleep typing his name :-)

You prefer blustering incompetence?
Well you've got it, how's that working out.

I thought he Q about providing scientific evidence to back up the 10pm curfew was a fair one. The PM just didn't know how to respond as he has no evidence or reasoning, or as many would say 'no clue'.
Oh dear, someone's upset at their beloved Boris being bested.
It’s extraordinary that anyone might think a sensible sounding if rather dull politician might make a better PM than the current one.
I won’t mention Attlee again as it gets dragged up every time this subject comes up :-)

TrevorThePug, yes please, you've got to put up with another 4 years of it, Starmer will be yet another Labour leader who flatters to deceive, many more years in the wilderness for you m'lad!
Personally I don't give two hoots about Keir Starmer, but the PM continues to reveal himself to be the useless imbecile he is. Weekly, if not daily.

Glad you're happy with that.
Margaret Thatcher and even the Queen took advice on how to speak in public, and perhaps Keir may do the same one day.
As an ex barrister he should already know how to speak.
Well said Saintpeter48.
danny, he knows how to speak, he just needs to change the tone and show a bit of enthusiasm.
I assume this is about PMQs today which I didn’t see. If that’s correct, the question about // providing scientific evidence to back up the 10pm curfew// isn’t a fair one - it’s a stupid one because scientific evidence isn’t what the curfew is based on. The curfew is designed to stop people congregating in large numbers in late night pubs and clubs. I would have thought any fool would realise that - but evidently not. Keir Starmer didn’t.
Another stupid question, I thought, was him blaming the government for the lost tests which was due to a computer error.
....and clearly neither did Johnson
But then they congregate on the street or in houses so what's the point of the curfew? Boris repeatedly says "We're led by the science" so where is it this time? As for Keir Starmer sounding boring - irrelevant when here's a man with a brain who actually talks sense.
It was a fool who decided to re-open the pubs. eat out to help out, did he really think this would reduce the crowds?
"Duplicate question (or comment):"

Oh well it seems saintpeter48 is even more boring than Starmer!
The reason the 10pm curfew was brought in was because they thought that people would drink less and would therefore be less drunk and not become to affectionate /violent to each other and therefore could keep a distance. It didn't occur to them that people can get just as drunk in less time just by drinking quicker. Or that they would buy alcohol from the shops and carry on drinking in the streets. That's because they just don't think.
Indeed, trev.
teacake, no, the point of the exercise was to give a much needed boost to business .... and it did.
