apart from saying that the BMA are calling for a restriction in alcohol sales (and they would say that wouldn't they?) I can't see anything in that article about denying a person a drink.

oh PS as far as the mask thing goes, that's the existing 1+ rule isn't it? If you are in a busy place and can't achieve 2m social distancing then you take other precautions as well including wearing a mask. But you all go ahead and have a good old grump if you want to.

i was very young at the time, so how they devoured it, is a little sketchy...prehaps im imaginig the grossness of it lol.

Well in South Africa they had a total ban on alcohol AND tobacco From
March until August. Because of covid. Seriously not even allowed to buy cigarettes!!! People took to buying illegally and brewing their own alcohol!
