I’d be prepared to give her a pass, given the rules/guidelines/laws are all over the place, and most of which don’t stand up to the scrutiny of common sense, but she should resign by simple by dint of the fact she was very vocal about Cummings...who didn’t break any laws.
Amused by Teacake at 16.05 :o)
People that act out of character and as a result do something sackable should be sacked.
The Speaker can trigger a Recall Petition if the House of Commons Committee on Standards recommend a suspension at least ten sitting days
or fourteen if sitting days are not specified.

The local constituents then have six weeks to say she should be recalled (no longer an MP). If at least 10% say she should be recalled, she ceases to be an MP and there will then be a by-election.

Yes but there is no mechanism for sacking an MP other than that which Corby describes. In addition to suspension from Parliament an MP may also be subject to a recall petition if he or she is convicted of a criminal offence and receives a custodial sentence or if he or she is convicted of an offence involving fraudulent expenses claims.
I don't think covid makes you act differently. I mean, Trump has continued to be an imbecile throughout his illness.

Unless.....
Cummings didn’t break any rules?
Shome Mishtake Shurely...

He broke plenty of rules - he just lied to mitigate them.
That woman knew she was suffering the symptoms and got herself tested. Not only did she make the train journey South on public transport whilst awaiting the result, but addressed the Westminister Parliament and made the return journey North now knowing she had tested positive. Cummings did not use public transport twice knowinh he had tested positive.
So much for annieasquith's faith in her resigning soon after the crime was discovered. I didn't hold my breath.
has it been determined that Ferrier broke the law after it came into force?
I know she has been referred to Police Scotland when her 'friend' discovered her selfish ,arrogance, and hypocrisy. Her 'friend' also requested she resigned as well as removing her whip.
another rule for one and not for all.....
This woman has absolutely no shame or integrity. She is now portraying herself the victim of her own misdeeds. I hope Police Scotland are taking a serious interest in her contempt for others.

No mistake Sunk.

Cummings didn’t break the rules when he drove to Barnard Castle; he didn’t follow a guideline.

It’s a big difference.

This woman should be ashamed of herself - I think she genuinely thinks she’s done nothing wrong. The irony is delicious given the speech she made about Cummings.

yes I wondered if this were displacement - mad leddy but what is the president of the the most powerful nation on earth etc ....
