No-one need miss him. He'll be around and keeping us entertained until he drops dead. He'll just be tweeting his drivel from the golf course or some other place where he can't be a danger to America and the world as he would be if he stays in the Oval office. I say that, but his cult (that's basically what it's become), is chock full of angry, gun-toting simpletons...
Even if he's no longer President, how will the US move on? Trump has, at the very least, exposed (if not himself created) an aspect of US politics and life that is going to be a gaping wound for some years or even decades.

Haha! Nothing like preparing the ground to excuse future failure. How very like those here still blaming Thatcher 40 years on for their disenchantment with today's world. There's always a method in the madness. :o)
I'm also curious how you can listen to a leader of a free democratic country call the entire process fraudulent -- because, in effect, he cannot lose except illegitimately.
If indeed Americans lose faith in democracy, then, yes, I will blame Trump for that. I will blame the person who used the office to insult and undermine the process. I will blame the party who supported him in doing that. And I will blame the people who believe him.

There is nothing to celebrate about this election and all the stupidity that will no doubt follow in the coming days/weeks. We should all feel a sense of relief that a lunatic will no longer be in charge of America, but beyond that there is nothing to be particularly happy about.
Jim, I doubt very much anyone cares what you think or who you blame. Having had a chuckle at your post at 16:38 Thu, should Biden succeed your swerving over the next four years will doubtless provide endless entertainment. :o)
I am not a Biden fan, but obviously I am not a Trump fan, as my 'parodied' post yesterday made clear.
If I was a voter, I would be voting not for the candidate I like, but for the candidate I dislike the least, which is a poor reflection on modern American politics.
I can only think the American people are looking forward to welcoming their first female President, Roy. That would be a real first. A woman and black too.
I would hope that what would change if Biden got in would be that he tried to bring Americans closer to each other, rather than driving them further apart.

Trump didn't set out to do that, division was actively encouraged by Democrats who wouldn't accept Trump as president.
I've got one...no black people will not be shot by police if Biden wins...any more?
I have to admit, I enjoyed andy's suggestion that Naomi going after me is "out of character"!
I'm afraid you'll be sorely disappointed if you're looking for squirming, Naomi. I tell it as I see it, is all. As to whether anyone cares about what I think -- probably not, but why is that a privilege only I enjoy? Nobody on Answerbank matters much. But it will never cease to amaze me that you're more interested in opining about ABers who don't matter, than about presidents who do.
