As I previously posted, I reckon that between 20 Jan. (his White House eviction date) and the end of that month – a large number of criminal inditements will be announced against Trump (personally) and against his organisation.

They have only been delayed because prosecutors did not want to be bogged down in legal arguments as to whether a sitting president could be prosecuted.

If I were Trump, I’d charter Airforce One to take me to some South American country (with no extradition treaty with the USA) to live out my retirement (rather than in sing-sing).

For those of you who doubt the above – Mr Trump’s alleged criminal activity (with documentary and court testament/depositions) has been well documented within the news media during his presidency.

Why not concede graciously as every POTUS has in recent times, and go away to carry on running his businesses?
With the greatest respect, Cloverjo, if you have to ask that then you haven't been paying attention. :-)
Well, of course. Silly me! :)
Trump doesn't know the meaning of conceding as his skin is even thicker than an elephant's hide and he has no moral scruples whatsoever.
how to concede

Sadly he's not used to having the word NO ever said to him :0(
Trump will almost certainly issue pardons for himself and his cronies before he finally leaves.
I wouldn't put it past him to dump on the presidents chair in the oval office, he strikes me as that sort of man.
‘his skin is even thicker than an elephant's hide’

Do you think so? I think he far too thin-skinned for the job.

Yes, if Trump loses he will lose his immunity from prosecution and will face Court actions for many years. And a lot of his acolytes will go to jail too.

As I (cynically) postulated on an earlier thread, all those rebuffed speculations about Trump’s mental health will suddenly be proven, and he will be diagnosed with a condition that will prevent him being prosecuted and standing trial. He will escape jail.
Thanks Ellipsis/Chris. I like that.

Don’t think he can pardon himself from a charge that hasn't yet been laid. The charge(s) will only come after he has gone in January, and when he cannot use his office to suppress the allegations. Quickly becoming loopy (very easy to prove) will keep him out of jail.
Thanks Chris. I'm on my mobile this evening ...

You're welcome, Naomi. It is a classy letter ...
I like that letter. Bush Snr really showed his class.
Looks like trump is going, Can't wait for Boris to join him.
I liked Bush Snr. He was on course for re-election but lost to a faux JFK in the person of Clinton.
Gulliver - I'll second that!
Having removed every shred of Dignity from the POTUS office ages ago, Trump has nothing to lose by continuing in his narcissistic ways.
