must have been expecting 4 star hotel accommodation, probably heard from previous illegals already being put up in said hotels, barracks not good enough mmm, africa is warmer, they could always go home.

Then they should have presented themselves to the authorities in the first safe country they arrived in. That isn't here and it almost certainly wasn't France. They are illegal immigrants who have roamed across Europe and spent time living in squalor in France awaiting a chance to get to their destination of choice. When I last looked there was not war, famine or genocide in France and that's not how the asylum system works.
